Sexual assault reported at Markley Hall

A University of Michigan student reported she was sexually assaulted by a known acquaintance in September at Markley Hall. She did not wish to seek charges and the case was closed.

Sexual assault from 2017 reported at South Quad

A U-M student reported around October 2017 that she was sexually assaulted by a known acquaintance at South Quad. This case is under investigation.

Sexual assault from 1976 was reported at Health Services

A former U-M student reported she was sexually assaulted by a university staff member in 1976 at the University Health Service. This case is closed.

Visitor assaulted during the Wisconsin football game

A visitor was assaulted by a known acquaintance during the U-M-Wisconsin football game Oct. 13. The case was submitted to the Washtenaw County prosecuting attorney for possible charges.

Visitor assaulted at South State Street parking lot

A subject was assaulted Oct. 19 after attempting to stop a car for failing to pay for parking at a at South State Street parking lot. This case was submitted to the Washtenaw County prosecuting attorney for possible charges.

Visitor arrested at the Laundry Services Building

A visitor was arrested Oct. 26 for breaking and entering and malicious destruction of property at the Laundry Services Building, 1655 Dean Road. This case was submitted to the Washtenaw County prosecuting attorney for review of possible charges.

Motor vehicle theft reported on South State Street

A moped was reported stolen from the south side of the Kelsey Museum on South State Street Oct. 2. There are no leads and the case is closed.

Motor vehicle theft reported from U-M parking lot at Fuller Park

A Chevy Silverado pick-up truck was stolen Oct. 5 from the U-M parking at 1519 Fuller Road (M-78). The vehicle was later recovered by the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office on Oct. 24.

Motor vehicle theft reported near South Quad

A moped was stolen between Oct. 27-28 while parked in the South Quad moped parking. There are no leads and the case is closed.
